Running multiple V7 catalog on 1 PC

We have 2 clients, both of whom want us to design their sites and both will use Order Manager.
As our clients still have to buy a licenced copy of Catalog with which we as designers can build their sites, will we be able to run both copies of Catalog on a single PC or would it be advisable to run only one Catalog per PC.
Is there any technical reason for not having both licences on 1 PC but installed in to different directories ?

We don't want to go down the route just yet of buying the developer edition.

You can run as many sites as you want with Catalog on one PC. Just add a new site for each licence. I have 20+ sites running on Catalog.

When you install the software for the first time and install the first license, that will create the default Site1 folder for the first site.

For additional site, be those Catalog or Business, you get the new box, open it up and you do not install the software again (assuming it is the same version, i.e. 7) you simply go into File | Sites | License new site and enter the name you want to call it (for reference aspects) and enter the key.

You then get a completely new site usage on the same PC using the same software...

The folder it creates (first one was Site1) will be the name you assign when adding the new site.

You then switch between the sites using File | Sites (select the site and switch to it)...

The software you have is Catalog, Business & Developer all rolled into a single application, with different elements activated by the key enabled in it for each site.

Hoep that explains how it works for you.
