    I see my "Donationware" Products In Columns patch in use throughout this site. I don't recall hearing from them though.

    Pity, as I can see what will probably fix this problem (it's in the Templates) but have little incentive to help.

    It's a bit ironic that they've installed a right-click blocker, presumably to prevent anyone stealing their work.

    UPDATE

    Niels had offered a donation to me as soon as I helped him a year ago. I'm very sorry for being so snappy above.

    PS

    I still hate right-click blockers as they make it difficult for the good guys to gather diagnostic information.

      Hi Noman,
      As I recall - We did donate money direct to you, when you adjusted a column code for us. Please check you records before making accusations which you havn't bothered to look into. I'm am sure that this forum is not to be used for petty remarks such as the one you have just made.

      Best regards

        Sorry, Niels. Many apologies.

        I Yahoo Desktop Searched my system for anything containing your site fragment "mx1" and nothing came up. I stupidly failed to try searching for your surname, especially as it's an unusual one like mine.

        We did speak about a year ago when I sent you a customised template. I'm not sure if that was for products in columns but it doesn't matter as you honourably offered me payment for helping you.

        I just get a bit touchy somedays. I'd earlier Googed to see how many page were using just one of my Donationware Menu patches - answer 22,600, which even at 200 pages per site comes to a huge number of users, the vast majority of which I've never heard a peep from.

        Anyway if you'll forgive me I'll try to help with those pesky ?'s and save you entering & # 1 6 3 ; all over the place.

        The source of your pages seem to contain two <HEAD> statements and this is confusing IE, which seems to then be ignoring your charset definition.

        Have alook at your Primary Template and see if you can alter things so there's

        <html>
        <head>

        head code

        </head>
        <body....>

        main code

        </body>
        </html>

        Try not to put anything between <html> and <head>, also between </body> and </html>.

        Also make sure you have only one of <html> <head> </head> <body>, </body> and </html>.

            Would you like me to leave my tetchy post intact so people can see how dumb I was, or would you rather I amended it so it doesn't appear derogatory of you?

            PS I still hate right-click blockers. They keep the hoons out but make it difficult to gather diagnostic informatioon.

              I'll leave it up to you - we try to stop images being taken by using the right hand click method.

                I know that's the reason. It tends to any stop the casual pirates and the popup is a warning to all that the images are yours. Anyone who want these images can easily get them in several otyher ways.

                However if I'm (e.g.) trying to see if an image dimensions are interacting with an adware blocker, or are different from the file's real size and causing slow page loads, then I've to hunt through the page source, locate the image, paste it into the address bar, hit enter, load said image, then right-click / properties!

                All that instead of just inspecting the image properties with a single right-click.

                  two <HEAD> statements
                  Well spotted, Norman. Dumb me, completely skipped reading the whole source and went straight to the bit that was not rendering correctly....

                    Hi there

                    Strangely with Firefox, you don't get the right click error message, at least not with the latest build. So if you go into the client website, and right click, you will be able to get the image properties as well as the source.

                    Kind Regards
