    Cart Suggestions

Long time no speak all, everyone fine i hope

My client has 'decided' that he wishes to have for sites with one actinic catalog. I done this many months ago as requested but with obv suggestions, pointers made as to why this was wrong. Anyhow they have now decided to have a Shared SSL cert for secure payments but this obv causes probs when using one of the sites which is not on the SSL cert.

They dont really want me to redesign all the sites rather be able to have the cart 'pop up' in a new window.

Could someone please offer some form of suggstion as to how this work around is poss or other methods. I know a redesign is the best long term solution but time is of the essence

    Thanks

    Andy

    Andy,

Could you be a bit more specific as to what exactly is required?

    Kind regards,

Apols Bruce, was in a bit of a rush when typing.

Basically my client has 4 sites, but only 1 actinic site which has a shared SSL cert.

As the sites use frames! (argh) and is relectant to have them all redesigned.

I was wondering if the checkout process could be opened in a new window so the SSL cert 'secure golden padlock' can be displayed which is not the case at the mo due to the frames issue

Basically www.deanmowers.co.uk uses http://www.countymowersltd.co.uk/acatalog/home.html in the bottom frame.

I know its not ideal and have advised them.

        Andy,

I thought I had got back to you on this one !! Just realised that I did not. I would suggest going into Design | Options | Miscellaneous, look under 'Generation Options' and select 'No frames in Checkout' also select 'Also removing Custom Frames'. This should then enable the golden padlock to be viewed in checkout.

        Kind regards,
