    Fresh install - whats next?

    Hi everyone.

    Sorry if this seems like such a simple set of questions but I've been confused too many times and been told different things by technical support that my brain hurts now!

    Basicly, I've just downloaded and installed the latest version of actinic, I have my box with my product key and a snapshot with a new theme for my site, but I really dont know what I should do first.

    In what order should I do these things?
    • Import Snapshot
    • Link with Sage Line 50
    • Import Products
    • Quantity Discounts (from sage - almost all products have this)
    • Create Categories
    • Shipping
    • Link with Payment Service Provider
    • VAT


    I would be most gratefull for some guidance on what I need to do first, as the last time I did this I well and truly messed it up! Thanks in advance!

    In what order should I do these things?
    * Import Snapshot - Does the snapshot have products too??
    * Link with Sage Line 50 ( If you are going to import the products from Sage)
    * Quantity Discounts (from sage - almost all products have this)
    * Create Categories ( This can be done in Sage before you import into Actinic)
    * Import Products
    * Shipping
    * VAT
    * Link with Payment Service Provider

    This is what I would recommend. I am sure there are other users who have done similar installations, so please do comment here.

      Bear in mind that you should start the ball rolling aquiring a PSP earlier rather than later. It can take some time to get all that arranged.
