Different Shipping Costs per Product - please help.

Hello cleverer-than-me people.
My website is pretty complex in that I am displaying a whole range of products for other people and they all want to specify different postage charges. Some are simple e.g. £1.00 per item. Others are more complex - e.g. buy 2 get 1 free. Or even £1.00 for the 1st item then 50p per item.
I am at a complete loss with this. I did start by entering a table into the business settings for weights - so .2kg = £1.00 etc but it isnt working as the site grows.
Any ideas v v welcome. If nothing from you guys I will have to specify 'delivered prices only'.

Alas no easy solution - shipping by weight is the most flexible option in the Actinic tool box but as you say can get a little unruly as the site grows - it is a case of persevering with the weights matrix to get it right and then modifying the weights of the items to suit ... trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Sorry - there is no magic switch for very complex shipping requirements
