    NorTree and Compact HTML/CGI

Has anyone else found that if you use the compact html/cgi option in actinic that nortree then doesn't complete the links?

I want to be able to remove all the un-needed elements from the coding to skim off as much file size as I can and hopefully make it list a little better on the search engines. I haven't got the site thats live compacted at the moment (musiccentre.co.uk) because when I uploaded it with the compaction on all the nortree links turned out like they do in the previews

    Act_PreviewWarningPage.html?ACTION=SHOWCART

Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? Cheers

That's bizarre. Compact HTML/CGI is the preferred way to run a live site and NorTree works just fine like that.

You could try deleting the Act_section_tree_names.js, Act_section_tree_URLs.js files on your server and Site1 and then running the Actinic Update to make sure they are recreated.

Please don't forget that NorTree is Donationware.

Norman has a Nortree forum at http://drillpine.biz/forums/viewforu...a5a238e81c5f4b

It sounds like you have an error in your installation though, suggest you go through the installation instructions again just to make sure you have it right.
