OT : Button software?

sorry for going off topic, but can anyone recomend a free software package for designing buttons to replace the actinic defaults?

And by 'design' what I mean is select a button and stick some text on it...

Open Source is "The Gimp" which is a PhotoShop clone

I already have photoshop... I was hoping for something a little more specific - like a button designer rather than a general graphics package.

ie. something idiot proof - choose a button, choose some text, press 'go'...

You often get XARA http://www.xara.com/ free on magazine covers which is idiot proof button creation. Doing a quick search on google found the following online buton creators :

Although not free I tend to use Fireworks over PhotoShop for button creation
