How much information can be imported from a database

Going to start creating a site using actinic v7 catalog, and was wondering we hold all our stock information (descriptions, prod codes, stock levels, etc) in an access database, how much of this information can be auto-imported into actinic??

within site1 there are sample csv files for import, there is a flat file and the hierarcical file

both of these will tell you how to format an import file. There is also info on this in the help files ( ie what data to put in which column)
