    index.html and Act_BrochurePrimary.html

I want to create my own index.html (home) page, and want to know if there is any Actinic code detail in the default template used to create an index page, Act_BrochurePrimary.html in Actinic.

I intend to create a semi-duplicate of Act_BrochurePrimary.html called My_BrochurePrimary.html, but want to see how much of the Actinic links I can leave out ?

    Thanks, S.

This will really depend on how much Actinic functionality you wish to retain - the main parts being cart (session cookies) and navigation. In a copy of the template why not try commenting out most Actinic bits and previewing the page - then uncommenting parts that you want. The AUG will also give info on what NQVs are used in the template and their purpose.

So it is not wise to simply replace index.html, created using Actinic, with my own index.html created in DWeaver.

I will keep the original template and simply remove image and text detail only and leave all NQV's etc in tact.

      Thanks, S.
