Does anyone know if it is possible to look at an order online at the server before it is downloaded?

This is not possible - the file is encrypted. You will need to download with Actinic to see the order content. You can however configure Actinic to send a copy of the order to another email address at the time it is created that may help for future orders.

I use Crosssellpro to do this...

Its not designed to be an add on to let you view orders, but in order to save data for bestsellers, people who bought this etc it has an online database which tells you in date order what has been purchased (quite crudely - order number, product)

I find this useful as I can see what my sites are selling, without going to another office across town where the orders are processed.

It also helped out a while ago when i managed to corrupt the downloading of orders, with the help of Worldpay receipts and CSP we could work out who had ordered what without the embarrassment of having to ask customers what they had ordered.

I like the email idea, it's just when I'm away from the office in the evenings I'd love to be nosey and see what exactly has been ordered!

Could you tell me how to go about setting it up?

Hi

Go To Business settings, click on the ordering tab

then enter your email address in the send email copies to box
