    Order Management Help

    Hi,

    I have been using Actinic for many years now and use quite a few of the Mole-end plug-ins aswell, however I feel I have been a bit stuck in my ways to how I manage my orders over the past seven years.

    I currently use Worldpay to process my transactions (pre-authorisation) and have a merchant account with HSBC. I also use the Actinic to Sage link.

    So what my question is, what is the best way to manage my orders with the setup I have?

    I tend to have quite a few orders that are back ordered or out of stock - awaiting new stock to arrive. The problem I seem to have is because I need to export all my orders in to Sage I cant really edit them as the incorrect amounts will go in to Sage, also Worldpay always takes the full amount from the customers card . I don't appear to be using Actinic to its full potential as I have to complete all my orders and then deal with them once printed out.

    I hope this makes sense and would like to hear how others manage their orders?

    Hi Martin,

    have you spoken to Jan at Mole-End as you are using her add-ins? She will probably be able to advise on the best way to use her tools and integrate with Sage etc for a more streamlined back-office.

    Not really an answer but she is the expert in that area and well worth contacting.
