    Final Shared SSL I hope

I am having trouble entering shared ssl settings.

    My host is www.lypha.com

the web and ssl are on the same server.

Here is the last response from lypha after hours of emails and icq

    Hello,

Please be informed that through this link https://pluto.secureguards.com/~wwwausi/acatalog/ ,you are accessing the shared ssl in the server.
http://www.ausinks.com/cgi-bin/ is not accessible and you will get a 404 error. This is because cgi-bin is for inserting cgi scripts.
Please note that you have installed ssl for your main domain www.ausinks.com so you can use this feature for this link only ,as this is specified during installation

So http://www.ausinks.com/cgi-bin/ and https://www.ausinks.com/cgi-bin/ will not be accessible.

Please let us know if you need further assistance in this regard.

If anyone can show me how to get wround this it would be great, otherwise no ssl

Have you tried the following for the cgi-bin?:

yes i have tried and thats when

      The following error occurs

Your Catalog URL appears to be invalid. The files uploaded to the given 'Path from cgi-bin to acatalog directory', can not be downloaded via the browser on the given Catalog URL. These two access routes don't point to the same destination on the server.

Is a redirect (even though I dont know what it means) what I need to do here?

another note from the host is

Please be informed that through this link https://pluto.secureguards.com/~wwwausi/acatalog/ ,you are accessing the shared ssl in the server.
http://www.ausinks.com/cgi-bin/ is not accessible and you will get a 404 error. This is because cgi-bin is for inserting cgi scripts.

It also appears having viewed both

      www.ausinks.com

      https://pluto.secureguards.com/~wwwausi/acatalog/

that the https: only work on one single page???? what the??? or am i just stupid (please dont reply to that one!)

All I want to do is use my secured ssl for the checkout but it seems as if I have to go the extra expense of getting my own certificate. (maybe i am a bit cheap, but when the said i had shared ssl I thought I could use it, thats all)
