Problem when adding an item to basket

    Hi

Just had a customer call to say they were having problems adding an item to the basket and got the following error message:
    A General Script Error Occurred

Error: The specified product (reference 2!NREMERGENCYPLUSSPR) has just been removed from the catalog. Please return to the catalog and continue shopping. If you press the Refresh or Reload button on your browser, the removed products will no longer be visible in the catalogue. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner

I have double checked and this product hasn't been removed from the site - it is there in a number of places.

Customer can add other items to basket with no problems.

Any idea why this might be happening?

    Thanks

I tried it and as you say it is only the one duplicate under Natural Health Remedies For Cats that has the problem.
Why not try deleting (and purging) that duplicate refreshing the site then copying the duplicate back and refreshing the site again and see if it sorts it out.

I have the exact same problem and wondered if you got it sorted?

        A clue maybe...
Duplicates which I have created manually by copy/paste as duplicate work fine whereas duplicates I have imported via a csv file are the ones which don't. Unfortunately these are by far the majority of the site. I've attached a section of the csv file and a copy of my Act_ProductLine.html template and would be most grateful if someone would take a look and let me know if anything jumps out. TIA

          Hi Graeme

I tried recreating the same scenario by importing a hierarchical file with the duplicates in them, but it seems to work fine for me. If you have been able to nail this problem, caused by the csv imports, then I am afraid we will need to have this further investigated by our support team. Support request can be logged here.
          Kind Regards,

Mine was a flat-file import. I got it sorted eventually by deleting everything and re-importing the entire file then doing a website refresh.
