setting up AllAffiliatePro with Actinics SSL payment pages

Anyone familiar with AllAffiliatePro who can tell me exactly what to do to get it working for a site using Actinics SSL payment pages?

    cheers!

I'm not sure how the cookie tracking will work with shared SSL and different domains. I think you may have to contact AAP about it.

If using the Actinic Shared SSL service, then the receipt page is still shown at your site and not within the ASSSL site, so, so long as your affiliate stuff is generated within the final receipt, it should not as far as I know make a difference to the setup (I thinks anyway).

I think that's probably correct the only changes required to get AAP working on a non SSL site is to Act_Order4 and Orderscript.pl

          many thanks guys.

thanks. Its the only bit of the install so far that i have had any question about.

Great, I will look at it over the weekend. So far AAP seems to have installed fine....

At present i use the built in actinic referrer software, which relies on my honesty to provide affiliates with payments. I am looking forward to providing affiliates with tracking etc - I feel it will make affiliating more attractive if its more professional.

anyone got any constructive comments etc?

if anyone wants to join as an affiliate and help test, please let me know. We sell board and card games, dice, paints etc, to the geeky gamesplayer (me included)!

Affliate code with Pay Pal as well as Actinic SSL

We collect payments on Actininc SSL and PAY PAL, Would it be fair to say that Act_Order4 is still the place to put the affiliate code to capture order detail.

The code I am using in Act_Order4 is with a dummy image

            <IMG SRC="http://www.phoenixfireworks.co.uk/cgi-bin/order.cgi?total=NETQUOTEVAR:MYORDERTOTAL
            &reference_id=NETQUOTEVAR:THEORDERNUMBER&purchase_content=#var3#" HEIGHT=1 WIDTH=1 BORDER=0>

Later comment: Answered my own question by testing it and it works.
