    Big pain in the A

I'm putting the finishing touches to this site
    http://www.sofabeds4u.com (it's on a test server)

I have a problem with some of the sections and the error message that appears if you try adding to cart without adding a quantity. For example try this page http://www.sofabeds4u.com/acatalog/Socks.html and try just clicking the add to cart button and you will see what I mean.

Since my client wanted many different functions on the page at once the style and layout of the page kind of suffers and the large product image sits on the page inside a div layer which sites over the error message. Is there any way that I can move this error message completely and maybe add a popup javascript error message.

Cheers to anyone who can help me out.

I don't see any error message after clicking Add to Basket on that page. However the page that should show the error looks corrupted, with images out of line and text overlaying the Quantity boxes.

Have you removed the NETQUOTEVAR:CARTERRORXML tag?

Also the CSS positioning fails whan you have a screen wider than 1024.

Yer I know. The client wanted things that made my life hard as hell when it came to positioning of key elements. I'm currently going through the site correcting these faults - I did take out the error script, mainly because it was hidden behind the div layer which holds the large image. I take it this error message needs to be in the page!?

Well the Customer needs to know they did something wrong. Try placing it in the product description area (by moving it around in the Product Template).

I'm on trying that now. I've re-actived the error message but it was displaying 2 istances of the error message on the page. I therefore hid the NETQUOTEVAR:CARTERRORLISTXML in the Productbody which got rid of the bottom error message, now all I need to do is find the other and try and move it.
