    Shop logo disappears (as well)

another problem we have is when you search for an item. for example search for 'bedstead' and you will see at the top of the results page the sleep shop logo has vanished. i know its something to do with cgi-bin. im not bothered about having the image there at all, as long as the red cross isnt there. can anyone help? cheers

Does this post refer to a prior post? If so what?

OK - since you know the problems are caused by different error, can we expect you to tell us what these errors are and how you solved them?

Or is there actually a question in this thread?

I'd solve the problem as per my reply in http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=21087 first and see what happens.

It is looking for the image in the cgi-bin which is wrong ... the dirty solution is to add the image into the cgi-bin via FTP until you resolve the issues with your templates

The problem is probably because some images are being defined before the BASEHREF tag (due to all that invalid HTML). This is confusing the browser, which is probably using the 1st definition that precedes the BASEHREF.

i tried that but the ftp prevents anything being moved to the cgi-bin folder

Unlikely as it's FTP that puts all the Perl scripts there.

Simply fix the first problem (as already mentioned) and this one will probably disappear.
