Fractionnal quantities for cloth

Hi I need to sell some products by meters with decimals, i.e. 1.5 meters for example.
I have read a post where NormanRouxel explains how to do this in version 6. Before trying to adapt the script to my site, I would like to be sure that it also works on version 7.0.6 ?
So if somebody have adapt this modification in v7, it will be a great help for me.

You've not mentioned which post you refer to (I've posted over 4,500) so it's a bit hard to comment.

However the V6 patch (whatever it is) will probably work in V7 as long as you don't use it on a Duplicate product.

Just backup each file before altering anything.

At the end you attached a file with all modifications to sell cloth by 20 cm. I think I will have some modifications to do if I need to sell by 10 cm ?
What do you mean by "Duplicate product" ?

That won't work in V7 without quite a bit of changing.

It would require a lot of work to change it.

The same amount of work could provide a much cleaner solution, allowing the product to be priced in metres and the customer entering a fractional length. The fractional length entered in metres and correct cost would appear in the Cart.
