    Feedback please

    HI Everyone,

    After the past few weeks of re-design I'd really appreciate your comments.

    I'm sure there is still lots of 'tinkering' to do....

    Spelling error in the footer - Briding the gap

    The time-share image says click here for more details, but the image is not clickable.

    The offer refers to FLP products, but does not spell out who or what FLP is.

    The inline frame on the get-rich-quick page is about 10 pixels too wide. You might also want to add a fragment explaining your relationship to the framed site.

    The 60 day no quibble image is too wide causing the right side boxes to display as second left corner in some browsers (FF and Opera).

    'Links' on the menu leads to your news page, and on that page the menu is offset to the right, almost covering the first letter of each line of text.

    I came away feeling the site has multiple personality disorder - FLP, Aloe Vera and You, Bridging the Gap - the interdependency could be explained to boost customer confidence.

      Looks a great improvement Linda. A few things I saw:
      1. The large holiday image offer is not clickable.
      2. In the cascading menu - some sections are on two lines and the second line is not readable - also the image is repeated on the right side of the text in the cascade which looks a bit odd.
      3. The top ten of the RHS could do with some links (brochure anfd product pages)
      4. I looked at prod ref: 206/fn - the related products and reviews etc under image did not work.
      5. It would be good if you could click on the product image and view a larger image.
      6. The ContactUs page menu has something wrong with it's formatting.
      7. Skopping basket and checkout's cascading menu is also different.
      8. Home link from cart page did not work.
      9. Links link goes to a News page.
      10. You might want to consider disabling searhcing of your duplicates because when you search for a product you now get two entries for each product.
      11. It would also be good to make your logo on all pages clickable to go to Home page.

        Thanks for the advise about inline frame on get-rich-quick page (I wish) - I'd like to point out that it's not a get-rich-quick scheme - However I changed the size but it didn't do anything. With regards to the fragment, I attempted to put a fragment in but it automatically drops to the bottom of the page and I can't reorder it to go to the top - any suggestions as it also does this on the books page where I link to amazon????

        I have also changed links in the menu to 'news' to make it more compatible with the site wording.

        Thanks for the improvement comment - the site definitely works faster and seems to be more appealing to the eye - lets see what the customers think!

        You might have guessed that I'm not a great techie and have just built the site and redesigned several times before I've got to one I really like - however I've only managed to do that by picking bits up from here and there and learning how to do it. - There's no other training in me!!!

          Linda,

          Is the inline frame in a fragment? If not, drop it into one - then you can drag the other fragment and drop it on the page name and it should move to the top. Same with your link to Amazon.

          To re-order a bunch of fragments, you just drag them and drop them on the page name in reverse order (i.e. the one you want at the bottom gets dragged first).

          I was a bit cheeky with the GRQ comment - sorry, too much coffee.

          You have accomplished a great deal, but I guess we have all gained experience in picking sites apart over the last year or so too

            You can disable searching of duplicates in:

            View|Search Settings - Search Options - Uncheck Indexing Options

            To make your logo clickable you will need to modify the Act_Primary and Act_BrochurePrimary templates. See the following:

            Sorry I can't help with the menu formatting - I haven't used that type of menu.

              Menu - I would look for a width setting and add 10 pixels - of course that means moving the whole menu left to compensate - which might be worse.

              Second thought - see if there is a 'background image repeat' setting anywhere and set that to no.
