Comments added to an order?

New to version 7....

Is there an easy away to be able to get the customer to add a short comment to there order?

We have a product where a customer can specify custom requirements?
It would be brilliant if the customer could enter the details at the ordering stage.

At the moment they have to place the order then drop us a email or phone call to let us know of their custom requirements...

Go to the layout tab on your product and type something into the 'other info prompt' - that will create an entryfield on that product for the customer to fill.
