cgi scripts not running

I am integrating my actinic site with an accounts package Pegasus Opera. We have written an integration tool that seems to be working.
I uploaded my site (which took 2/3 hours?) and while all my sections and subsections have come through when I try to select a subsection I get a cgi error. However within actinic itself I can select a product from the online cataloge, it comes up in the preview and I can see the image.

Also we had two sets of images for thumbnail and the large image. We had two folders called large and small with the images stored in there with the same name. However during upload an error msg came up with duplicate images names. While there are duplicate names they are stored in different folders? I want to have both images to have the same name to make it easier is this possible and if so how is it done?

When Actinic uploads it places all images in the acatalog folder. Hence you would be better off having different image names for each size. You could easily bulk edit your image names and also export the products/sections and do a serach and replace in Excel and reimport again.

Your cgi problem may be because your upload never finished. Have you tried a Network Test, and if so do you get any errors?

So it stores all images in acatalog root regardless of whether or not you have them in folders?

The network test passed - I should also mention that I had the site uploaded before importing from my accounts package with the test data slightly modified and it uploaded fine.
