qty boxes gone missing

my quantity boxes are not appearing on my pages
i have selected in options for qty to appear on confirmation page and use parent settings on section details with qty on product page also selected - is there something i'm missing?

i jumped ahead of myself there in options i selected each one to test and even when i select qty on product page and in the secion options to use parent they still dont show up

You will need to untick use parent settings in the section you need over riding and that will then set the "quantity on product page" for that section

i have unticked use parent setting in the sections and qty on product page is selected. still nothing showing

Are you sure that the quantity field in the Act_ProductLine.html template (or whichever you are using) has not been commented out at some stage?

No I just copied in that file from a backup that is showing it
