Does Actinic come with a pre-installed search option? i.e, for clients to find things?

If so, where do I find it?

Actinic comes with a search facility built in an enabled by default.

On your auto populated navigation menu you should see it within the section and product page areas.

I had a custom theme made, and can't find the search part of the site, where do I find it?

So what does the search form search in? does it only search the description field? Is there anyway of changing this?

View | Search Settings - will give you all the available options.
