    full width fragments

Ok, this has been doing my head in for a short while, i have been using text fragments in our site, but for some reason the fragments dont take up the full width available to them, they take up around 80% of the space, the 'product group' boxes do, but text fragments (and actual product listings for that matter) dont. I am going to guess that this is something really obvious but i have no idea what i am looking for,

sorry in advance if this has been asked before, i searched the forum but got no results,

you can see an exaple of what i mean with the text fragments at the botom of our store home page on www.incredibid.co.uk, the text about our location, i want that to take up the full width

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Andrew,

You will have to do this by editing the template you use to display the fragment. Remove any cell spacing values and keep at "0". If you go to Design | Options | Miscellaneous and uncheck 'Compact Html & CGI' then update your site and look at the source code, you will then be able to see which template is used to siplay the particular bit.

Make a point to createa backup before editing any template.

    Kind regards,

      Centering Fragments

Hi - I am also trying to do the same thing, and have followed the advice of the follow up post.

Still no wiser: you can edit the template via layout I section link layout, however you can tell it to centre the frame there but it does appear to be within another table. Have looked at the html of the page and am unable to suss that out.

A follow up with 'detailed instructions' would be fantastic! lol

Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Advanced | Template Management - change to the grey tab view if not already there. Select the portion of the page you need to edit OR if you followed the advice in Bruce's post, go straight to the Act_ template identified above the code you need to change and open that template file in notepad.

Change the html code - look for cellspacing=x and change whatever number x is to 0.
