Using Actinic to manage my 'offline' customer database

I've got 2 customer databases - 1 is on Actinic and comprises people that have ordered online (obviously), and the other is an excel table and comprises people that have come into our shop and for one reason or another have ended up on our database.
Can I use Actinic to manage my local customers too, so that i've got all my customers details in one place? If so, would there be a way of seperating 'local' & 'online' customers - or is that asking too much?

You could use offline orders to process the non website orders, that would add them to the Actinic database

I do that for phone orders etc - its more for people who aren't ordering anything, but are being added to our database so that we can send them newsletters etc.

You could add a product called contact and add them that way?

I like that idea - not the perfect solution, but better than any of the convoluted ideas i've come up with so far.
