Multiple Sets of Custom Buttons

Hello All,

I need to know if there is a way of using more than one set of custom buttons in Actinic? At present my clients master template is mostly red and the buttons are white with a red 'dither' around them to keep them looking nice and sharp (see www.ahapremier.com). These are all set up as custom buttons via the Design Options > Navigation section.

The site will soon be selling products for Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Everton so I will need create a new blue template for the Chelsea and Everton products. The image that appears in the background will also change but this shouldn't effect the buttons as they will use the same colour palette. I will however need to create a new set of blue dithered buttons to work with the blue templates.

Is there a way to use these or am I going to have to think of a clever way to create universal buttons for across the site?

Hi Charles,

You are right, you can create customised buttons.Rename the primary template and use seperate primary templates for each of the section. Edit the template, comment NETQUOTEVAR:LOGOIMAGE and hardcode the image links.

Thanks for replying Fathima, but I'm not sure I completely understand.

At present I have NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBBACK, NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBCART, NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBCHECKOUT etc... in my templates, with the buttons being called from the Navigation section in Design Options.

If I manually import my own new images, how to assign them all to run the appropriate NETQUOTEVAR when clicked?

You would use the "other" version <A href=NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBCHECKOUTLINK> Your ChelseaButton image name </a> etc
