    Froogle Feeds changed, problems.

    Has anyone else had any problems with uploading their Froogle feed since google have played around and changed things? They're now calling it 'google base' when you sign in. I finally got my products on to Froogle a couple of months back and have had no problems uploading feeds. Now they've changed, I keep getting errors on my feeds on 20 - 30 products. ANNOYING!
    Any advice?

    Yep - very annoying. If you sign into Froogle or Base there is a list of the Old and New headers for the new feed ... simply change them in the exported feed prior to uploading (excel or notepad)

      I have not found that, and I have spent the last few days looking for just that.

      Do you have a URL for this info?

        My Mole End mash program no longer uploads my feed to Froogle and when I do it manually via the Froogle site, it throws up lots of errors - extremely annoyed and completely flummoxed.

        Ahh - I've just found it - on the login page of Froogle Base there's a click here link above the sign in button:

        product_url = link
        name = title
        description = description (no change)
        image_url = image_link
        price = price (no change)

                    I have uploaded and am getting error messages from Googlebase does not like some of my characters in my text. I have been using my froogle mash program to upload which worked great with froogle.

                        I discovered that actinic froogle feed threw up a lot of errors but Mole Ends mash seemed to work ok for google base.

                        Any news from the folks at actinic on any changes to accomadate Goolgles changes?

                        Regards

                          I've sorted this problem out and thought I'd post to help anyone else who's having the same problem.
                          Once you've taken the top two lines out of your froogle feed, save it as a UTF-8 file. I've now uploaded with no feed errors at all. When I saved it as a ANSi file, it had errors.
                          Hope this helps someone.

                            My Froogle feed started throwing up errors, specifically with £ signs and apostrophes. I eventually whittled the errors down to only 1 by deleting all the suspect text. After finding the last remaining error I uploaded again directly by the Froogle mash and now I'm back to 26 errors, although the items are showing up on Froogle. What on earth is going on???

                              I though Froogle was dead, you need to be using Google base
