    Help with design layout please

My Navigation Menu at the top of the page has been created using CSS and has the width set at 100%.

The table beneath contains all my 'top level sections' navigation menus' and 'brochure body' content, etc. This table also has the width set at 100%.

How come the Navigation Menu stretches the entire width of the screen and the content (table) below doesn't? The image at the top containing the butterflies should line up exactly with the right end of the naviation.

Any suggestions please cause this is doing my nut in!

The first thing that I noticed is that you have 3 <body ...> tags in your pages (only the first one is valid).

The second two appear to start blocks that contain the same css, duplicated twice.

I also see two sets of breadcrumb navigation - probably related to the above. Best fix this first as this is probaly related to the problem you're having.

You may have some duplicated NETQUOTEVARs in Act_Primary.html and Act_ProductBody.html.

Yeah sorry about that Jo, I realised afterwards that I had already asked this question - I just never sorted it! A little out of sorts last week

            Hi Norman,

I had a good look at my html files and have since deleted one of the CSS Body tags, because you were right the definately was two indentical.

That hasn't helped at all (yet).

But I'm not quite sure which is the third one??

I know I have a <body id="home"> tag which relates to the different colours on the top Navigation Bar. This is because each Main Section section will be a different colour.

I would appreciate a little more help with this one please.

I've updated my trials site since last time:

This (possibly Brochure) http://trials.actinic.com/trials/trial28717/index.html page still has 3 BODY tags (the 1st one is correct, the other 2 are spurious and the middle one also has an onload statemet, making it somthing of a guess as to which onload will execute).

And this (product) http://trials.actinic.com/trials/tri...avourites.html page has about 7 of them, including lots of repeated CSS.

No worries, its just easier for everyone if all answers are concentrated in to one thread

You need to take a look at firefox too, as the designspreads over 2 screen widths
