what i am doing wrong?

i want to set my store page as the home page.

i have un-ticked the option in the brochure page to have it as home page. rename it.

then i go to design options and then i tried with having home page as none and also with specific url (pointint to the acatalog\index.htm page) but no luck.

where have i go wrong with this as i am getting mad that i have missed something.

I am using the Design Option setting of specific url pointed at /acatalog/index.html successfully - are you getting some sort of error message when you try to upload? Why do you say it is not working?

i am not getting any messages at all.

it uploads no problem.

but when i go to the url the index page (main) comes up with my brochure page.

If you want visitors to land on /acatalog/index.html when they type the base url, you will need redirection - depending on your host, you either change the base for the domain to /acatalog/ or you add a .htaccess file with a 301 redirect to move all traffic which asks for pnagames.com/index.* to /acatalog/index.html

how do i do either of them.

do i have to phone the hosting company for the first option?

Without knowing your host that is a little difficult to answer. Do the host provide CPanel or a similar interface?

On a 1 & 1 site, you can select the domain name in the control panel, then click destination and specify the actual web page that a call to that bare domain will land on.

for .htaccess - any search engine will take you to lots of content, and a forum search will turn up several pertinent threads.
