    Page Preview not Refreshing

For some reason the Page Preview no longer refreshes properly. Clicking on a different product in the 'Content Tree' doesn't have any effect in the Preview Pane.

Some random selections in the 'Content Tree' will force a change in Preview but it's unpredictable.

Make sure that Refresh Delay (usually on 3rd row of Actinic's main icons) isn't set to Manual.

I have the same problem and it seems others do as well. See this:

      Still irritating me!

        Hi Norman

No, it is set to 'Very Fast'.

          Hi Scott

Yes, I had read that thread but I'm not using the Developer version and I thought it may be a different problem.

Have you "upgraded" to Internet Explorer 7? This doesn't work properly with Actinic Previews.

Yes I had (although it's not my default browser) - removed it and now all seems well.

              Thanks for your help.

                offline preview not working

i have a problem which may be related, and that is that 'offline preview' is not working. Is there a setting somewhere that sets up the choice of browser? I cannot seem to find it.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Actinic will default to whichever is your default browser - you can change this by going into IE or FireFox and ticking "check if default browser on startup" or words to that effect - relaunch the browser and tick to make it the default
