Tax Exempt Field Size

Hi,

I'm trying to change the maximum size of the tax exemption text field box 'TAXUSERDEFINED' to smaller size. This field is on the ACT_ORDER01.html template.

I've set the maximum size to 15 so that it matches with the database the data is importing into. However on upload the limit is not set on the website.

I've done this on all the other checkout boxes without problem but this one does not seem to be taking the size from the template.

Has anyone got any ideas how I can limit the size of this box?

The TAXUSERDEFINED field you see in ActOrder01 is for Simple Tax, if you re using Advanced Tax, you will have to make the changes in Act_AdvancedTax.html . To open the template go to Template Manager | Miscellaneous | Tax click on 'Advanced'.
