    Here's a few ideas

1 go ot network settings, check that use Passive FTP is checked, if it is, uncheck it

    2. check you can contact the website by using FTP, to ensure the site is there.

    3. otherwise timeouts on actinic upload tend to be down to the host\isp.

point 3 may be the solution, unless you updated zone alarm recently.

if ZA comes into it, then a forum search will provide solutions

should i get in touch with ukDomains?.
there is not any problems receiving orders from the site, its just uploading.

can u please tell me what zone alarm is, and if its on my computer where to find it to turn off.

            Benn,

Is this still outstanding? Have you been able to upload the site as yet? If not, have you checked Jo's suggestion about Zone Alarm? Zone Alarm is an Anti-Virus software, you will find it in C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm

Please read the following link http://community.actinic.com/showthr...231#post111231. Zone Labs issued a faulty patch soemtime back and it has caused a lot of problems with uploads. Follow the instructions on the thread to uninstall and reinstall the latest patch of Zone Alarm.

            Kind regards,

Hi bruce, yes i did manage to get it uploaded,

for some strange reason my server host details, and some other details had change, very odd.

soon changed the details back, and its all sorted, somtimes the most obvious things are the hardest to see..

              cheers for all suggestions..
