When I do a site snapshot I get this error message:

Errors
(File ExportFiles.cpp, Line 563) - The file C:\Program Files\Actinic
v7\Sites\Site1\x.oSrc was not found System error 2 - The system
cannot find the file specified.

Help!

Perhaps some error in a Template where an image filename is typo'd.

Use Windows Search tool to look in site1 for files containing x.o and examine these file to see if that shows something wrong.

apologies for the delay in getting back to you, but I've been away and got rather behind with things. I did as you suggested and the only Actinic file that came up was this one:

AuthNetOCX.ocx

but I don't know how to check this.

AuthNetOCX.ocx isn't the culprit.

See if there is anything unusual in Advanced / Additional Files.

If not, I'm not sure where else to look.

I've seen this before with some JavaScript expressions in the templates, which Actinic interprets as being references to a file called 'x.oSrc'. I suggest just creating a blank text file and saving it as this filename in your Site1 folder.

I've now got exactly the same error message, where I haven't before when I've exported a snapshot, and nothing signficant has changed on the site

PS - Chris - it's been a very long time since I saved a file with a specific "tail" (Windows XP generally hides these now) - how do I do it, particularly with a four character tail (eg .oSrc) - I thought only three were allowed??

open notepad, save as, Save as Type = Allfiles, type filename into filename box

In NotePad, select save As, select "All files" as type, enter the file name.

With XP you can have as many letters after the dot as you have typing room in the naming dialog.
