Error decrypting the order

Hi,

I'm a strong believer in the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". That is why I'm still using V4.0.7 and have been happy with it for years. One PC does the catalog and the other does the Orders.

We recently tried to restore the catalog on to the PC that downloads orders. As that didn't work for us we tried to import a snapshot. We now get an error message "Error decrypting the order" when trying to download orders.

Please help.

John,

Check the encryption data on both installations, they need to be identical. Look in Housekeeping | security. Copy over the information from the upload machine to the download machine and then refresh the site, now try downloading.
