Is it possible to offer customers the option to pay a percentage of there total order?????

quick answer to this is No, not out of the box that it.

Can you explain in more detail what you want to do and maybe we can offer workarounds

My client wants to be able customers the option of paying 50% of there total order online, and then the reamaining balance upon delivery.

That is not possible with Actinic, you will not be able to take part payments. Does anyone else have a suggestion?
