Can I edit the Navigation menu manually to exclude certain pages from the menu (I STILL want the pages to be accessible via <a href....> links so the hide feature in Actinic is of no use in this instance... I only want to hide the links to certain sections on the main Navigation Menu... Is there a flag I can tick in Actinic to exclude a specific section from being shown in the Navigation window or, alternatively, is there a way I can manually remove the links I don't want from the Navigation Menu???

If you do not want the section to be visible on the website, you can select the 'Hide on Website' checkbox, on the general tab of a section. This will also remove the section from the section nav menu. If you want the section to be visible but just not appearing on the Section nav, then you would have to remove the generated section links and hard code the likns to sections you want visible there. You can do that by editing the Primary template and commenting out the feature, then hardcoding.
