    Yet another shipping question (!)

Hi everyone, and thanks for all the help I have had so far to sort out some of my shipping/handling questions.

Hopefully this will be the last 1.

I have a parcel post class set, how do I stop this showing until the good are of an appropriate weight. ie: at the moment a Cd (for example), shows as 68p first class, 50p second class and then £3.00 odd for parcel post. I know that no one is likely to select this option, but is there a way to stop it being in the drop down until the goods weight is over a kilo?

With help from here I changed the sort order for 1st and 2nd in the drop down to ascending alpha(thanks very much), but now with the parcel post option appears before numbers 1st and 2nd, and even if i change those to first and second, then parcel comes between them. HELP please.

    Thanks in advance as always

    Lon,

    How is your shipping calculated?

    Kind regards,

      Hi Bruce,

      Shipping is calculated by weight.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it as long as the cheaper options are there. Our site shows next day courier at £5.99 for everything from a pack of 4 pens upwards. If they want to pay the extra for a specific service then let them have the option. Our postage is calculated by weight and many people will pay more for first class than courier as they prefer royal mail or they live near a sorting office etc.
