    Components attributes and confusion

    Hi,

I've created a component called Your name on the jacket in leather £15.00

I have then created an attribute under this called size.

The problem I have is the size attribute sits on the same line as the component.

I cant get it to site underneath the component line... Please see image attached...

    Thanks for your help
    Darren

ps I have read the advance user guide but could see it in there.

You click your component and you choose your separator. Maybe you want New Line?

          See attached image.

I have selected the various options but it still wont return on a new line.

It works if your not using a component.....

The quick and dirty solution is to add !!<<br />>!! at the end of your 'HTML For Name' field for the component. This will force a line break.

The 'proper' solution is to open the template called 'Act_VariantComponentName.html' and add a <br /> at the end of that.

The solution is :- (Thanks Tracey)

Looking at the screen shot of your content tree, I believe that what you want to do is to add another component for 'Size'. What you have at the moment means that the customer's size will only appear on the order if they tick the 'Jacket Colour Change' box.

So create another component on this product called Size and drag your 'attribute' onto this component - to stop the 'size' heading from appearing twice delete the 'HTML for Name' field in the component.

              I hope this helps.

              Regards,
