    location of index.html

When i developed my site i intentionally deleted the brochure section. My base page is index.html within the acatalog folder. I would like my url to disply as follows, http://www.examplesite.co.uk/index.html however at the moment it is http://www.examplesite.co.uk/acatalog/index.html. This sureley means my base page needs to be withing the root directory the section list pointing to files within the acatalog folder. Is there an easy way around this. At the moment i do have an index file within the root directory but it's function is to redirect to the acatalog page, which can't help when a search engine performs its index. Can anyone help?

    Cheers

you need to chat to your host to see how best to redirect the TLD to acatalog.

Or look at using htaccess 301 redirect (there are plenty of threads in this community re 301)

or find other threads that tell you how to changethe access database to place the entire site at TLD instead of acatalog
