permutations not changing price for logged in customers

Hi,
I have a customer group set up and they get a % discount of prices on the site. It works fine when the pricing is straight forward, however for these products I have a component set up for prices depending on which style they pick. In developer I can see the permutations and the difference customer goruns and the prices they shoudl see. However when i log in and test the page it will not display the trade price, only the retail price.

and then log in with test@hotmail.com and password test and go to the same page and you'll see the price remains the same. It should be 1085.

Can't figure it out!

What is the 'Pricing Model' for these products? Are the permutations associated to products that are in the particular discount group, or are they just permutations that are derived from component /attribute/choices's?

Just a lot of questions, sorry, but I need to know more to go ahead !!!

Hi Bruce,
I got onto support and found out that when I was using just a component with drop down menu that the only thing the customer will see is the html, and they need to move to the shopping cart to see the discounted price.
