Where can I get a list of what prompts in design>text related to what text displayed on the site?
There appears to be a number of options for the same prompt I assume depending on what design your using. I am trying to change the word price to recommended price and cannot find which one to change.

If you are unsure go through the text and use say price1, price2, price3 etc and then preview the page to see which it is

I think the text id's are in the Advanced User Guide

If you are talking about the default product PRICE: tag, this is on Design | Options - Shop defaults tab. There are three very clearly labeled price prompts on that tab.
