Problem with paths previewing site in IE

Hi All,

I am running my own web server and publishing my site to this server. If I navigate to the index.html page of the site using Opera, I can click on the navigation links and everything works fine.

However, when I try to view the site in IE, I open the index.html page, this displays correctly but then as soon as I click on a section link in the navigation the URL to the page fails.

Looking at the address bar (I will leave out my domain for security reasons) the URL has changed to

http://mydomain.com/htdocs//acatalog...e_The_Poo.html

I am not sure what is going on here as I have checked all the network settings and they look okay. Also, why does the site work okay in Opera but not IE

Any help would be most appreciated.

Alan,

If we have a url we may be able to investigate this. Are you using IEv7? If so then there are issues there with display, links and such. Have you tried the site in Firefox or Netscape or even earlier versions of IE to see id the issue is replicable?
