"remember me" facility in Catalog

I have implemented the Actinic Catalog ordering process with no amendments, and order page one has a remember me tick box. I didn't realise this wasn't working until a customer complained!

However, the documentation seems to suggest this is only available in Business and "some versions of Catalog". If so, why is it included in the coding? If not, what do I need to do to activate it?

(I have searched the forums and can't find an answer, if there is one, apologies!)

I have just tested with catalog and the remember me function works. This function writes the customers responses to a cookie if selected. Can you check with the customer mentioned if they had cleared their cookies before trying the site, if they did then that tells you why the function appears not to work.
