    An Error Occurred

    Attempting to set up a Product Duplicate, (something we've done many times in the past,) but on one item I've had the following error message:

    "An error occurred preparing a product for creation. String data, right truncated."

    It's not the end of the world, but can anyone tell me what this actually means and what the problem is?

    If your product reference 19 or more characters long - if so this could be causing the message, the way around it would be to reduce the size of the product reference to 18 or less.
