Old pages still on server and in Google

Hi there. I can't seem to find any previous posts on this topic so i apologise it's an old post.

I've recently updated a website - having renamed the Main catalog section - but the old pages are still on the server... is there an easy way to remove them?

e.g. http://www.louellabridal.co.uk/acata...l_EddyK_8.html should now be http://www.louellabridal.co.uk/acata...e_EddyK_8.html

I've updated and refreshed the site already.

Any suggestions?

If you have changed the file names and the originals still exist, then the only way now is to go into your hosting package using a standard FTP application and manually locate them and delete them...

Dont forget to set up a 404 redirect otherwise people finding the old pages on google not find your site.

Do a search on the forum on how to set it up or speak to your host.
