Uploading problem,

i have been reading threads for a couple of days now, and can't find a solution to uploading. Bassically what i want is the shop site to run behind the mainsite. So the shop isn;t the index page. But i can not upload.

Also i have come across a problem when 'configure web site details'. On the directories page it won't let me change, the web route directory from /WEB/ to /acatalog/ which i believe it should be. It comes up with a message saying the webserves down. Which it isn't because it works on /web/. But now since playing around with more settings it just crashes if i use /web/ and the whole program closes

It will probably be much easier if you remove all the SSL settings here and in the View | Business Settings - Payment and Security until you have the basic site running.

What is the setting of the HOME page in Actinic? Is the box for use as website home page unticked?

What have you set on Design | Options - Miscellaneous for Home Page?

yup done both of these now, it has stop crashing , thanks , but again only allows me to go forward with /web/ and not /acatalog/



if i proceed with using the /web/ then i hit a CGI-BIN error



its saying my cgi-bin is not in the rootfolder. when it is- i have set this up manually because my website space provider says to, and that it is possible to put the cgi-bin folder anywhere.

now that you have taken SSL out f the equation temporarily, have to tried to run the network wizard again, this may get the paths right for you now

Hi James

Have you tried setting the full shop under SSL to see if that make a difference at all . If the problems persists please send across your settings to me by email and I see if we can come up with a solution.
