removing State/Province

I would like to move the state/Province drop down on the shipping page, I have already tried doing the following but this still does not remove it.

Design/ Website (cont)/ unchecking country/state/province.

Hi,

You will need to either remove the United States as a shipping destination, else go into Advanced | Locations and click on United States and then delete all the states.
