    Script Error on Search

I get a General Script Error once a search is completed and you select one of the results.

The problem is consistant but not on all products.

Have you tried a full site refresh maybe, or could you post a link to the site having the problems....

I see what you mean. However it works fine if you search on other words, for example Tray comes up with lots of results and shows then fine when clicked upon.

Maybe it is something specific with this product(s) in particular, i.e. ast-7868 with a - in the middle is causing the problem. ie instead of ast - 7868.

Might you try changing some of the details within these products to see if it is interfering with the excluded search terms maybe.

It is a weird one i'll grant you.

I think you are on to something. Try removing the dashes from a couple of product references and then see if they can be found.

In the early days of v4 there was a similar problem to do with the ' character being within the product title, but this was solved.

The - is a long shot, but worth a try..

I removed the dash but still same problem. I did narrow it down to products within certain groups, such as "Specialty". It appears that searching for any product within a certain group will cause the errors.

In which case I think it looks like your search has become corrupted.

To rectify this, delete all *.fil files from your 'Site1' (or equivalent) folder on the desktop and also from the 'acatalog' folder online. Don't worry, Actinic will regenerate these files when you go to 'Web | Refresh Website'.
