    hosting: windows or linux

I am thinking of moving to webfusion to host our site, maybe a silly question, but do i need a linux or windows host. they have options for both.

Actinic can work on both, but is much more difficult to configure on a windows host. If you are not too experienced in setting up websites, you will definitely find life easier with the Linux hosting.

I use windows, because I need ASP, no problems setting it up and it seems as fast as unix - the key thing is to choose your host carefully, in particularly if you are considering fasthosts for example, windows is a definate no no.

If I was starting from scratch I would use unix - simple things like being able to set your own directory permissions can make life easier.
