Analytics code - where does it go?

Hi, I'm using Google Analytics and have it working OK on all the pages, I heven't done anything on setting goals yet and I know there are lots of threads on the complexities involved.
I want to add the specific code to my "Contact Us" and "join the mailing list" pages. Obviously I want to know after the submit is pressed rather then just someone looking at the page. So I thought it might be possible to add it to the code that generates the confirmation emails but don't know where to look and what to do!!! Any help greatfully received

You may want to take a look at the following thread. It describes how I've used Analytics on my receipt page but you should be able to adapt this for your 'Contact Us' and 'Join Mailing List' pages.

Thanks for your reply, it was very useful and I'm just making the changes now.

Does anyone know what templates/pages I need to add the code to for our "Join our mailing list" and "Contact Us" pages please? I'd like to check after the submit button has been clicked on if possible.

Hi Guy,

The contact us page is from within Actinic, look in your Site1 folder in C:\Program Files\Actinic vX\Sites\Site1 for the file Act_ContactUs.html. Your 'Join our mailing list' page seems to be a custom .asp page so you will need to put the code in there.
