running actinic on my networked laptop?

    Hi All,

I have V6 running on the PC upstairs, all well and good. I have a wireless laptop downstairs, and I want to run actinic on that, but using the site on the PC upstairs. I don't like being stuck away in the office in the evening, I prefer to watch tv with my wife, but I want to work as well....

SO: I can and have linked my PC actinic folder to my laptop as X:\ drive
CAN I: install actinic on the laptop to access the X:\ folder
IF SO: How is the best way of doing it
AND: are there any problems (I have actinic on 24/7 since i run Mole Ends auto download thingie ever 7 mins to keep stock levels correct)

AND IF NOT: is there anything I can get/buy/install to allow me to do this??

    All info greatly appreciated.

Why not just run PCAnywhere or RealVNC on your laptop and access your main PC's desktop, that would be the simplest solution.

Or even just turn on remote connection and restrict it to your own network. That's how I work the three machines upstaris of an evening.
